Bud Anderson's 'Old Crow' North American P-51D Mustang

   P-51D Mustang 41-4450 'Old Crow' of 362nd FS, 357th FG flown by Maj. Clarence E 'Bud' Anderson.

This is the legendary triple ace Clarence 'Bud' Anderson's first Old Crow. Depicted here early December 1944. Just a few weeks after the olive drab and grey finish was removed back to bare metal.

Bud successfully completed tours with the 362nd FS, flying 116 sorties and scoring 16.25 aerial kills whilst in the ETO.

This model is based on the Tamiya 1/48th scale P51-D. It is painted in Vallejo Model Air acrylic paints, is finished with special decal markings. The invasion stripes are painted rather than decals. For protection it and has 2 coats of Vallejo matt, UV proof acrylic arnish.
